- Bacon is now recognised as one of the least fatty meats.
- Bacon is an excellent source of protein and contains several vitamins and minerals including B12, B2, niacin, Vitamin D, Vitamin A, iron, zinc, selenium and copper.
- Bacon, and the fresh red meat in our sausages, are a specially good source of iron. This is particularly important as many people don't get enough iron in their diets these days.
- We only add the minimum amount of salt in making our sausages to ensure the necessary shelf life and delicious taste.
