Are the farmers in the advertisements real Danish pig farmers?

The people who appear in our Danepak advertising and on our packaging are typical of the farmers who are part of the Danish farming co-operative. A couple of examples in more detail;

Our Family Board of Directors advertisement
Karin and Michael Johansen farm 650 sows.  They both grew up on pig farms and the farm they live on now used to be Michael’ fathers.  Michael’s father still works on the farm most days and the remainder of the family all have some involvement, from Nik driving the tractor to the youngest daughter Ana helping Karin with feeding the piglets.

Keeping up with The Jorgensens
Soren and Bente Jorgensen farm 400 sows.  Again they both grew up on pig farms.  Their son Mathias (pictured with the tractor) also wants to be a pig farmer.  The tractor is the family’s new tractor, they still have Soren’s original tractor – new in 1965 and still used everyday on the farm, but only he is allowed to drive it (his baby!).
