HenrikHenrik is typical of the farmers within our farming co-operative. Henrik usually starts his day at 6.30am and works through to the early evening. He’s rightly proud of his pigs and knows the care and attention he gives them makes for a more succulent and delicious taste. His farm produces around 800 tonnes of wheat and barley a year, most of which for feed. Henrik’s family-run farm was built in 1876 by his great-great-grand father. Lots of time to perfect great, great tasting pork. |

SorenSoren is typical of the farmers within our farming co-operative. Soren particularly loves harvest time on his 180 hectare farm in Funen, Denmark, though he admits the unpredictable weather is sometimes a challenge – just like in the UK! Soren’s secret to producing great tasting pork is to keep his pigs happy from day one. That means a healthy environment and the right food. Which is why Soren feeds his contented pigs with wheat and barley he’s grown himself. |
