The Danepak brand is owned by Danish Crown - a co-operative of around 9,000 Danish farmers. They supply pork to countries all over the world, and sell their products through various subsidiary companies, including Tulip Ltd in the UK. Danish Crown processes around 22 million pigs a year. This equates to 2% of the world's pork and 8.2% of all EU pork. The majority of this meat is sold abroad, making them the world's largest pork exporter.
